Everything Old Is New Again (Kudos to Peter Allen)
We’re six months into our Maroons Online activities. This means it’s a good time for a re-branding. You’ll notice a new logo courtesy of the automation experts at Squarespace. I highly recommend this cloud platform despite word this morning of a major Internet outage in the cloud. We’ve also added the diligent work of the RHS Althletic Hall Of Fame and the RHS Distinguished Alumni to our pantheon of all things Ridgewood. Like most things we print they appear elsewhere, if you can find them. A little redundancy and some fact-checking never hurt any network based project so they have been shined up and make for fascinating reading.
Much has not changed. We’ll continue featuring prominently the photography of Macky and William Peay. Pictures are worth a thousand words and Macky’s New York and William Peay’s Tales From The Word… provide more than their fair share of reflection upon familiar scenes in our lives.
Coco Hough is back too with a mouth-watering display of culinary acumen. Tiramisu has long been my favorite dessert and a touchstone for a first time visit to an Italian restaurant. When my wife and I start feeling more courageous and venture out to a sit down restaurant, I will no doubt go looking for a place with a Tiramisu as expertly prepared as the one by Coco.
Here’s to the next six months of the Maroons Online project. Drop me a line and let me know what you think and what you think we might add. No telling what you might find in your Mom’s Attic. (Kudos to Anne Robinson.)
