Observer
I love RHS graduations. I may not have attended many through the years but now that we’re collecting graduation photos I feel like I’ve been in attendance for quite a few. Feel free to send them or post on social media somewhere that we’ll come across them. It doesn’t matter if the pictures are old, grainy, and out of focus. You kept them is all that matters. Maybe add a few words about the weather. Bonus points for telling how you felt participating in this most excellent of traditions that the village conjures up, and groups of alumni and parents work hard to improve upon every year.
Be mindful of the feeling you had of being appreciated on Graduation Day, and then feted in a manner worthy of royalty. This is something hard to forget for anyone to forget. If you never experience this sort of generosity and kindness again in your entire life, at least you will know how it ought to be done.
This year it rained but it didn’t stop the procession of graduates outside or prevent people from being awestruck by all the girl’s white dresses and bouquets of roses. The guys as usual held up their end by wearing white tuxedos, most of them for the first time ever!

The Herd On Track 18
I was walking to get a coffee offer setting up the cheese shop and to my right...I see a train rolling in to track 18 and I slowly walk through the ornate gates and stop at the top of the ramp - the is no other sound other then the brakes screeching and the sudden thump of the train stopping...a second later the sound of 100 doors opening and then nothing but silence and I put my phone against a glass advertisement and shoot this as the silence slowly amplifies to the soft shuffle of feet - not a word was spoken as I stood pinned against the wall as they passed.
Looking north into track 18 and 19.
Time 740am.
