There is no way yet to compare the delight I feel when viewing the art of Macky (see below) to the old photos you’ll find online at the Ridgewood Public Library. Someday I do hope that 5G internet speeds will make rummaging through the Heritage Catalog a bit more like admiring Macky’s work on Instagram. Ridgewood Public Library
I do like slowly working my way through the 3404 photos they have cataloged. I’ve learned some history in the process. Little did I know that the Village Town Hall was once the Elks Lodge.

Send this to a friend if they know the date of the transfer. The Elks didn’t go far and as far as I could remember they were always in the building next to the Library. Just goes to show what a little research during Covid quarantine can net you. Stay safe.
