New Web Site For RHSAA
When I saw the new Ridgewood High School Alumni Association (RHSAA) web site it filled me the original sense of hope & optimism for the RSAAA I had experienced when collaborating on the original design in 2015.
Not being on the Board of Trustees I give them all the credit for gathering the wherewithall to forge ahead and toss the old site into the shredder.
The new site is not without its faults but these have been duly noted by the RHSAA and won’t find their way into the deleted mail file of the previous webmaster.
I am looking forward to a more positive & professional working relationship with the RHSAA. All the Board members have an open invitation to publicize upcoming events like Home Coming Weekend October 6-8, 2023 in The Maroon. And any other events like the grand new tradition of hanging banners around Ridgewood every Spring, honoring the upcoming class of RHS graduates. You can see them now if you are in Ridgewood.
If you have a suggestion, please offer them up. The RHSAA is open for business!

The Snicker And The Escape Off Flower Island
Not sure where I get these titles but as I wait on Hudson for a friend...I see a ladder in the reflection of the plastic covering a flower shop and shoot this.
Looking east into plastic with westerly reflection on Hudson just south of 10th.

Tales From The Wood…
Monroe Street
The Green Tunnel is cool.. But not as beautiful as the White Tunnel.. Sun caught glistening in the fresh snow .
Sidenote... When we were wee lads there was a huge hours long thunderstorm followed by hours of sun showers.. we spent all day lying in the gutters riding the current of water down this section of the hill and running back up.
It literally poured downhill from both sides of the street; eventually flooding Orchard School down Ackerman Avenue, if I remember.

Rocks at Whitefish Point. Was surprised to find the water "warm" enough to walk in. Came home with a bagful of beauties.
