Ridgewood Irish Basketball
When I first saw the ad for the Ridgewood Irish Basketball, I asked myself “Who are the Ridgewood Irish?”
I can see how the Ridgewood Community School would be one sponsor of a program for school age children in the fundamentals of basketball. It took some moments before I came to the an idea about who the Ridgewood Irish might be.
This is not an attempt to cast doubts about a thoroughly vetted basketball program.
The realization which came to after a few moments is that the Village of Ridgewood doesn’t suffer for a lack of fields, there are more than ever. Ridgewood is instead playing host to a multitude of teams & camps wanting to use the local facilities. The demand for Ridgewood ball fields is far out-distancing the supply.
What to do?
K I C K T H E C A N D O W N T H E R O A D!
The Zabriskie-Shedler property will be ready soon enough.

The Stars Sing Bright
Spending the night with my friend Paige who has never been to New York and we find ourselves at Marie's Crisis (go figure) and on the wall across from the piano is a photo of Liza and with the Christmas lights on the ceiling...I shot this in the glass as the piano player banged out Corner Of the Sky from Pippin.
