Change The World
People who master written and spoken communication can change the world.
They pose questions like, “Do we consider the value of education in relation to anything other than money?” Then they follow-up by asking, What value can be ascribed to William Yates’ “Why Should Not Old Men Be Mad?”
Money is clearly important. Though if we read the poets we eventually come to understand that how we earn our living in this Life is important, too. They all too often cry out to us to Read a lot of good books, not just poetry. Don’t follow trends & metrics, or you’ll simply end up in the Self-Help Section of the book store or library.
Be someone who, through literature, educates themself to think critically, to consider another’s perspective and muster empathy; Be the person who is quick to recognize demagogy, fear-mongering, and false sources of information. You’ll likely find yourself to be in the vanguard of thinkers aiming to change the world.

Shot off the glass of the Van's store on Union Square west just south of 15th street looking north.
