2025 RHS Alumni Photo
If you are local then you already know about this fine tradition, initiated by our RHS Alumni Association (RHSAA), and scheduled for this coming Wednesday, 11 June 2025 at RHS.
Capturing these moments is what the RHSAA is intended to do. The fact they created this idea out of whole cloth is even more commendable and adds to their growing legacy of achievement.
The annual RHS Alumni Photo is taken on the front lawn just before graduation. This moment brings together graduating seniors and their RHS alumni parents and extended family members to celebrate the legacy and lasting bonds of the Maroon community.
I am also hoping someone will suggest having another party at Veterans’ Field under a giant tent! The last party was brilliantly executed. I can only imagine with today’s available technology how well attended & supported this kind of event would be.

Just heard the news that the US Treasury's Mint will stop making the penny at the end of this year. About the only thing of any value that I was able to buy for a penny was a piece of Bazooka bubble gum, or a fireball. That was back in the 60's, and I usually bought them at Ben's 5&10 in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Both were good. After the fireball melted in your mouth a bit and got less hot, that sweet little tang was heaven. And the Bazooka bubble gum tasted great and lasted a long time, blew a good bubble, and came with a Bazooka Joe comic. It was also about twice the size of a piece of bazooka that you can buy today. I guess back in 1792, when the penny first came out, you could buy a loaf of bread with it. When my grandson comes to visit next week, I'm gonna teach him how to have fun pitching pennies.
A penny for your thoughts?
