RHS Acabellas: Rihanna Medley
In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since.
" Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, " just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had."
—F. Scott Fitgerald, The Great Gatsby
Observation:
Oh, if we could only sum up life’s wisdom in a sentence or paragraph. Our teacher could write it once on the blackboard and when the test came around we would write it in our blue test book.
Of course, Life doesn’t work like this. The knowledge we acquire in school and in our jobs hopefully will provide us with a process for living. Through this process we continually add and subtract from what we know to be true. If we do this long enough, then it can be said that we are wise and possess an understanding of what life is about.
Macky’s New York
I waded deep into Macky’s collection on Instagram and found a new favorite:
February 29, 2020 - Metropolitan Museum of Art
Portrait of Anabel
As we waited for the elevator to take us to the American wing...I noticed my friend Cameron Sellers daughter looking up and into the glass door as the mechanical weights moved up and down and I held my camera above and shot this as the elevator came down to our floor.
